This is intended as a general overview and is subject to change according to the individual instructions received.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professional Indemnity<\/strong><br>We have an obligation and a legal duty to carry professional indemnity insurance and our qualifying insurer\u2019s details will appear on your client care letter (CCL).  The insurance covers our practice carried on from our offices in England &amp; Wales and will extend to acts or omissions wherever in the world they occur.  A full copy of our insurance is available to view at our offices. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confidentiality &amp; Data Protection<\/strong><br>We use the information you provide primarily for the provision of legal services to you and for related purposes including:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating and enhancing client records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis to help us manage our practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statutory returns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal and Regulatory Compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our use of that information is subject to your instructions, the Data Protection Act 1998 and our duty of confidentiality. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timescales<\/strong><br>Timescales for work will be detailed in the CCL. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Costs<\/strong><br>Your fee will be detailed in your CCL.<br><br><strong>Disbursements<\/strong><br>Relate to costs and will be detailed in the CCL.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Refunds &amp; Cancellations<\/strong><br>Refunds take place only under strict criteria &#8211; the CCL refers to this.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Liens<\/strong><br>Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our fees are payable whether or not a matter is successfully concluded. Further info is included in the CCL.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Payment of Fees<\/strong><br>Your bill is due and payable under the terms included in your CCL.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Concerns Over Your Bill<\/strong><br>We will advise in your CCL.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Funding<\/strong><br>We are a law firm that accept fee paying clients. We do not provide legal aid.<br><br><strong>Complaints<\/strong><br>We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and committed to high quality legal advice and client care. We aim to offer our clients an efficient and effective service and we are confident that we will do so for your current instructions.
